This critical milestone ushers in a new phase of cloud computing industry development in the Zhongwei region. Demonstrating strong commitment through its "rapid response and tackling tough challenges" end-to-end service model, State Grid Zhongwei Power Supply Company has established robust power security for the city's "East Data West Computing" strategic projects.
The company's Electricity-Computing Coordination Task Force proactively forecasted power demand from the cloud computing industry cluster and surrounding areas, strategically pre-commissioning three 110 kV substations. This reserved ample power capacity margin for Zhongjin and adjacent projects, laying a critical hardware foundation for the rapid fulfillment of subsequent electricity needs. The company promptly engaged customers by assembling a professional team to closely track design, construction, and commissioning progress, conduct site surveys, and identify source points in advance—saving approximately one month in connection lead time and achieving a significant leap in energization efficiency.
Duringtheacceptanceinspection, the company conductedcomprehensive and meticulous inspections of customer power receiving facilities, identifying 56 defects in total. It immediately assisted customers in developing rectification plans and dispatched teams on-site to oversee implementation, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance of the power receiving facilities. This effectively enabled data centers to achieve "early power connection and fast commissioning."
